The Deli

There's something wonderfully satisfying about shopping at a real deli. Pondering the anti-pasti, deliberating over the pastries and savouring a sliver or two of cheese before deciding between a full-flavoured cheddar or delicate young goat's cheese. "Oh go on, I'll have them both," is what many of our customers end up saying - and then choosing "Just a small piece of that one too." It really is hard to resist with so much deliciousness all around. So why bother trying?

From squidgy bries to full-flavoured blues, we have every type of cheese you could wish for. Not sure what to buy? Then ask for a taster. Need a cheeseboard for your dinner party? No problem. We will put together a selection that will whisk your guests off on their cheesy taste travels!

Our vast range of handmade quiches includes traditional Quiche Lorraine and seasonal specials like Courgette, Basil and Parmesan and Taste of Italy. They are available from the deli counter and as whole quiches by pre-order. And for a tasty starter or light lunch, try a fantastic Findlaters paté - there's a tantalising choice including indulgent Venison with Pancetta and  Whisky, Chicken Liver with Brandy and vegetarian Red Lentil, Coconut and Sesame seed. It's good news for those avoiding gluten as they are ALL gluten-free.

Planning a picnic? Then pack some sensational sausage rolls and a salad and be set in minutes. On the pie front, favourites come from Tom's Pies, including: Lamb, Chickpea & Chorizo; Chicken, Ham Hock & Leek; Butternut Squash, Mixed Bean & Cheese; Steak & Devonshire Blue; and Spiced Cauliflower, Spinach and Lentil. While in Lincolnshire, Adams and Harlow have been making extraordinary pies for over 100 years. Try the Ploughman's - pork, cheese and pickle in crisp pastry shell.

Calling olive lovers…

Whether you adore them marinated, pitted or stuffed (or all three!), you’ll love making your selection from the olive bar. Simply grab a pot and enjoy being spoilt for choice. You can also take your pick from our Italian inspired anti-pasti range, with stuffed bell peppers and baby pumpkins, semi-roasted tomatoes and grilled artichokes, marinated anchovies or incredible fresh basil pesto.
