We had quite a weekend here at Priory Farm, welcoming 5,000 food lovers to our fifth annual Strawberry Fair festival.
Visitors who flocked to the farm were offered a variety of food and drink including Surrey cheese and sour dough bread, Scotch eggs, sloe gin, fruit wines and savoury jellies as they soaked up the atmosphere. Even Saturday's heavy showers (accompanied at times by cracks of thunder) didn't dampen anyone's enthusiasm.
Festival-goers also enjoyed a barbecue and queues soon formed for our butcher's delicious handmade sausages and burgers, while over half a tonne of strawberries were eagerly snapped up - along with hundreds of cartons of fresh cream.
Over on The Discovery Walk, tractor rides, rubber duck racing, a bouncy castle and fun slide were just some of the attractions keeping everyone entertained.
Everyone worked immensely hard to lay on this event, so we'd like to thank all involved - from our lovely suppliers and producers to each member of our team and, of course, to our customers who came along to enjoy the day and to show their support for independent food and drink businesses.
We're already looking forward to the Christmas Food Festival on 29 and 30 November!
We take your privacy very seriously, read more...
