Hanging baskets
We always have
an imaginative
selection of
hanging baskets,
many created
from plants raised
in our in-house
nursery and from
other specialist
local growers.
Priory Farm
baskets are
planted with
Osmocote food
to
help sustain
a stunning
display
that with a
little care
can last
for
months. Our
spring and
summer hanging
baskets also
include
a moisture
retaining
product.

Choosing herbs for the English climate
We have a huge
selection of
locally-grown
herbs including
less well known
ones such as
pineapple sage
and herbs for
Indian and Thai
cuisine. Our
herb baskets
make brilliant
gifts for food-loving
friends.
Lavender
is a wonderful
plant for that
English-country-garden
look. It has
culinary use,
has a wonderful
scent, bees love
it and it is
easy to grow.
You can find
the ever popular
varities ‘Munstead’
and ‘Hidcote’,
amongst others,
in our plant
area.

A host of Cornish daffodils
As part of our 50th anniversary celebrations in 2007 we planted an area of our
Discovery Walk (link)
with ‘Golden Anniversary’,a
gorgeous daffodil from
the Cornish grower Fentongollan.
This year we’re delighted
to be selling these bulbs
at the Plant Centre from
early autumn.
