Stinking Bishops, Red Devils and Farmer’s Hands
A visit to the “Deli” counter at Priory Farm Shop is a real treat. Feast your eyes on scores of cheeses, from strong characters like Stinking Bishop and Red Devil to mild and mellow Bries and delightfully crumbly Wensleydales.
Always keen to support talented local producers, we are delighted to champion Norbury Blue, a gorgeous unpasteurised semi-soft cheese made down the road at Mickleham by dairy farmer Michaela Edge. Another local favourite is Twineham Grange Farmer’s Hand – a parmesan-style cheese made in Sussex, which tastes wonderful served with sliced pears.
So whether you are creating a cheese selection for a dinner party, need a particular flavour for a recipe, or want to make the ultimate cheese sandwich, come along and let our expert assistants guide you.

Whether you prefer them marinated, pitted or stuffed, you’ll enjoy making your selection from the olive bar. Indulge in some Sun Dried Tomato Stuffed Olives from Olives Et Al, which won a coveted three star gold award at the 2007 Great Taste Awards.
