Delicatessen
Fancy a wedding cake with a difference?
Then ask us about preparing one from a selection of cheese!
|
|
|
Cheeses from talented local producers include:
Norbury Blue, a gorgeous unpasteurised semi-soft cheese made down the road at Mickleham by dairy farmer Michaela Edge.
Ashdown Forester’s from Sussex High Weald Dairy is made with cows’ milk from the producer’s farm.
An unusual firm-textured and unpressed cheese, it
is available smoked or unsmoked.
Sussex Slipcote, also from Sussex High Weald Dairy, is a soft cheese with a light, creamy and fluffy texture and a refreshingly tangy flavour. Wonderful for summer picnics, spread on fresh, crusty bread! |
|
Handmade pastries and scrumptious Scotch eggs
Pastries prepared in the Priory Farm Kitchen, include traditional favourites like Cheese and Tomato Quiche and innovative Red Onion and Garlic Quiche. |
