Priory Farm is set amidst stunning countryside … visit our Walk and explore it for yourself!

The Discovery Walk appeals to visitors of all ages. There’s more now than ever before, with a surprise around every corner! Our runner ducks and guinea fowl are really funny and the chickens are our latest addition. Other favourites include the low bridge from which to take a good look at the inhabitants of our lake and feed the fish, ducks and other wildlife that live there. Youngsters love the nature trails – a picture-based one suitable for younger children and a fact-gathering quiz for nature detectives up to around 12 years old.

Discover the Labyrinth! Climb, balance and scramble your way to the dark lair, and if you’re feeling a little bit brave, see if you can find out who lives inside.

Every child gets the chance to win a £10 voucher in our monthly quiz draw.

To fully enjoy the Walk, allow at least an hour for your visit, especially if little ones are looking for clues on the Nature Trail. If you would like to feed the ducks and fish, please purchase the “balanced diet” food that we sell. We regret that we can’t allow you to bring your own.

I visited the farm yesterday with my daughter and two grandchildren. We went on the Discovery Walk which took about two hours, the children loved the challenge of having to work out the answers to the questions and at the same time learning about the environment.

As an Early Years Teacher I am very aware that children are not allowed to think and work things out for themselves.....so establishments like Priory Farm are well worth a visit to allow children to be free and explore the natural habitat, whilst as parents knowing you have the comfort of your children being safe.

Thank you for such a super place to visit and the fact that it has not been spoilt with an abundance of commercialisation!
