Priory Farm has been owned by the Shinner family since 1957 and we are offering a rare opportunity to visit your club or group to deliver a light-hearted talk about the struggles of building a viable business while bringing up a family on a small farm. The free talk is entitled Pigs, Polytunnels and PYO.
Talks can take place at your meeting place or at Priory Farm. |

Strawberry Fair Food Festival

Meet our favourite local and regional producers who will be offering you their delicious food and drink to try - and buy.
An exciting, added attraction at this year’s event will be cookery demonstrations by chef David Gillott of Four Gables Food Academy, Ashtead. Using local, seasonal ingredients, these demonstrations are guaranteed to inspire you to take home the recipes and get cooking. Demonstrations will take place at regular intervals throughout the day.

Children's photography courses
|
| Digital photography workshops for 6 - 16 year-olds, right here at Priory Farm |
Run by award-winning international photojournalist (and local mum) Suzanne Hammerton, each workshop teaches an aspect of photography such as self portraiture, people, landscapes, macro lens work, editing and lighting. Suzanne and the Shutterbug Kids roam the Farm for inspiration and are permited to access all areas! Cameras are provided (or students can bring their own) and each child is sent a DVD of their work plus a 10 x 8 colour print.
Go on one course or do them all! Payment and bookings must be made through Priory Farm by ringing 01737 823304. Camera provided or bring your own. Each child will be sent a DVD of their own work and a 10x8 colour print.
Saturday courses 10am - 1pm £32 per child
Full day courses 10am - 4pm £65 per child
Children do not need to be accompanied by an adult as Suzanne and her team are all fully CRB checked.
