“It is not just a matter of experience.  It’s all about a respect for the land which,
in our case, has been built up over the many years that my family has lived here.”

About us

Priory Farm nestles deep in the beautiful Surrey countryside. Until 1992, it was a traditional working farm and a major supplier to the food industry.

  Investor in people
Bought by John and Wendy Shinner in 1957, the Farm is now run by brothers Nic and Anthony, the second generation of the family.  It is that personal touch combined with expert knowledge that epitomises Priory Farm and contributes to its unique atmosphere. readmore

Our message is simple: “Shop at Priory Farm and feel good.”
Besides reaping the benefits of freshness, you will be helping support local businesses, including farmers, ice cream makers, cheese producers, beekeepers and bakers.

We are generous with free advice
There’s so much on offer at Priory Farm:  Plant Centre, Coffee Shop, Farm Shop, Handmade Food, Gifts, Cookware, Pick Your Own, Discovery Walk, Nature Trail, Fishing …  and we employ specialists for each area.  People who are passionate about what they do and who are happy to pass on advice and tips.  So next time you have a burning question, pop along to Priory Farm and pick our brains.

We try to reduce food (and plant!) miles
Where possible, we grow our own stock (plants for the Plant Centre and fruit and vegetables for the Farm Shop) and prepare our Handmade Food on-site.   We seek out local producers who can pop in regularly with fresh supplies without needing to travel very far.  And so we are making our own positive contribution to reducing food miles.  The more you support us, the more we can achieve.

We invest in people so we can serve you better
At Priory Farm, we work hard to train and develop our staff so that they are confident and happy in their roles.  We hope you’ll notice this when you meet them.
